Written by Sam Liʻa Kalāinaina with music by Eddie Kamae. The story takes readers through that special day when Sam took Eddie, Myrna and Larry Kimura into Waipiʻo to visit the many special places in Sam’s memory. At the end of the day, Sam said to Eddie, “You write the music and I’ll write the words about our day in Waipiʻo.”
